Don't worryy we're still here. Rides are still happening locally with lil jim at the helm, usually tuesday nights 5.45 down the coast// to seaham// inland to penshaw via washington etc..give us a call and join us..
Urban fox tends to do the foresty thing these days off on the new yeti to carve it up with the boys in scotland..hamsterely and other sculpted forests in the neighbourhood..

A ride at last !!

So there, it was arranged, meet at the shop at 5.30 for the first get together of the new season. I was itching to get there as it was my first go of the new Giant Trance X1 we just got in for test. It was not a bad turnout for the first ride...Me and Jim , and a hard ride followed, one of jims magical mystery tours up through ashbrook and then to tunstal (to the top ouch) then somehow we ended up in seaham then back inland upto Dalton Park then home...Me bloody legs are killin me !! We passed the Stawberry cycles crew along the way, didnt have time to stop and have a cup of grey just tipped helmets and a couple of aaalreet's and everyone went on their way.
All in all it was a fairly hard ride but it put some miles in the old legs, ready for the next one..

36 Hour Challenge

36 Hour Challenge...

One of our boys Anth Hudson this August Bank Holiday is going to attempt to ride to London from Sunderland in 36 Hours in aid of sports relief.
The exact route is being planned as we speak and will be posted when finalised, then all of you 1000's of people out there reading this can cheer him on along the way, or even join him for a few miles.

Hamsterley march 21st

First major ride for the foxes for 2010.
Setting off from the shop early (time to be arranged) March 21st, a nice leisurely ride round Hamsterley is the order of the day. Get in touch if interested.. The ride will be led by lil Jim so no doubt it will be a magical mystery tour as usual, but have no fear a gps will be smuggled in case we get lost. Magic powder and energy bars will be available before departure, bring your bottles and bladders..be prepared for another great adventure
